The demolition and abatement consisted of 15 spaces, where the renovation boasts 9 new classrooms, 2 teacher prep spaces and a large STEMM lab. The design is energy efficient with sloped ceilings and specific lighting. Recycling was managed throughout the project, especially during demolition.

The two-story masonry load bearing structure houses over 130 rooms beneath its predominantly standing seam metal roof and includes state-of-the-art science rooms. The building has a Geo-Thermal HVAC system utilizing a "chilled beam" delivery system.
